how to buy a house in raven rock skyrim dlc

The Final Descent isn’t actually integral to obtaining the house, but is necessary in order to unlock the next side mission, Served Cold, which will give you the house.
After having finished the March of the Dead Quest, it’s time to head into the Raven Rock mines.
But as much as we our cozy home that may or may not have a spouse and set of followers (in my case, both were present), it’s nearly impossible to reject a potential offer of a free home in a place as historically important as Raven Rock.

There is an alchemy lab against the south wall with sets of shelves either side containing an ashen grass pod, two bowls of bone meal, a piece of burnt spriggan wood, a canis root, six bowls of fire salts, five bowls of frost salts, two bowls of glow dust, three samples of lavender, a pot of spawn ash, two taproots, three trama roots, two potions of minor healing, a potion of minor magicka, a potion of cure disease, a bottle of potent poison, a draught of light feet, a bottle of matze and three sacks.
The first of these is called 'March of the Dead' and is acquired from the town Guards captain, Captain Veleth, just outside and south of Raven Rock at a location called 'Old Attius Farm' when you save him from being killed.
The second required quest is called 'The Final Descent' and is acquired from Crescius Caerellius who can be found just inside the entrance of Raven Rock Mine.
Due to the mines drying up and due to the waters being polluted from the ash coming out of the Red Mountain, the town has become the one of beggars and the occasional sellswords with very few trading ships coming by to sell their supplies.
Raven Rock is a frontier town, located on the southern coast of Solstheim and is the capital of the island.
It is the first location that the Dragonborn encounters upon traveling to the island of Solstheim on Gjalund Salt-Sage’s ship, the Northern Maiden.
"Most of Raven Rock’s original structures were leveled when the Red Mountain erupted in 4E 5.

Here are the side quests you need to complete in order to get a house in Raven Rock.
You are prompted to talk to the counselor, who gives you the Serevin Manor in Raven Rock for free.
Once the suspicious person is found, it’s time to gather evidence and report back to Arano.
Arano is convinced someone in the town wants to kill the counselor.
Raven Rock used to be an important mining town.
The Citadel isn’t very big and once it’s cleared, it’s time to go back to town.
To start this side quest, leave the town through the gates.
Now the mine is closed, and Crescuis Caerellius wants you to find out the real reason his great-grandfather died down there.
Here, I show you what you need to do in order to be handed a house for Raven Rock.
**UPDATE** I've been asked several times what I've done to be Invincible.
I forgot the name of the quest but I do know you have to take the route when going under the bridge from Raven Rock and when you keep going, you’ll see some Ash Spawns attacking some guards.
Leave Raven Rock by the gate going East (I think) and you will see two Dunmer fighting a white Ash Spawn, help them and the guy with no helmet will ask you to take care of the treat and go to a Fort.

But after Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3, I had a very strong "I’ve played this game before" feeling and lost interest.
It would be interesting to see how big of a differences the patches have made on the game since I have played it.
I really liked the world they created and enjoyed the game for about 25 hours.
I finished the game before any of the major patches were released for the game.
I was only able to play this game for like 8 hours.
That will give me about a year (hoping for PS4 price drop by then) to finally knock out my PS3 backlog and be able to jump into a healthy library on the newer system.
I’m glad that someone is liking it! Seems like a very huge expansive game.
I never played morrowind extensively, but I played enough to remember the architecture and the guard uniforms.
I looked around Raven Rock for a few minutes and took out a few Ash people before I had to hang it up.
Bethesda aren’t strangers to referencing the HP other than the sauce or wizard, as anyone who completed "shadow over hackdirt" will tell you, but I’d love to see some eldritch abominations up in mah skyrim.
Raven’s Rock might be a bustling Jewel in Northern Tamriel with the Legion almost completely withdrawn due to conflict abroad.
I should do a Pinkie Pie with my OC Pony soon for the sake of how much I love the character overall! *Ahem* Anyhow just saying you got a great Avatar.
I want to go back in time to meet my Oblivion character so he can be my companion.
I want a large expansion like we got with Tribunal, Solstheim, and Shivering Isles.
Sure, maybe there weren’t really skill requirements in Oblivion, but you had to advance through a lot of lower level quests that made you feel like you were starting out as just another member, having to do like seven quests before getting admittance to the Arcane University, and that’s where things got started.
Some mods I would recommend, especially if you’re looking to make questing more interesting are mods like MadFrenchie’s quests about the Thalmor, TEG Wizards of Winterhold (if you like magic), Moonpath to Elsweyr (which takes you to Elsweyr, the Khajiit homeland), Colossus – The Ancient Arena (well done mod that creates a version of the Arena like you had in Oblivion), and the Paarthurnax Dilemna (let’s you decide whether you want to kill him or not).
Also if you’re using Duel Combat Realism, or SkyRe, enemies that just witnessed their friends being shot in the head won’t just think it "must have been the wind" and stop looking for you after 30 seconds, they’ll keep being on their guard.
Made some good progress today, but it made me want to play Skyrim a lot lol.
In Oblivion and Skyrim, there literally is NOT enough guild related quests to justify such a system.
I haven’t played Oblivion as much as Morrowind or Skyrim, so I’m pretty friggin’ stoked right now.
I also like that people have added mods that sort of make Skyrim’s quest system similar to Morrowind’s.
Dragonborn is ****ing awesome, it’s what I exactly what I wanted out of Skyrim in terms of new locations and quests.
The whole selling point of Skyrim seemed to be "You’re dragonborn.
I’ve already traded in Skyrim anyway  It’s not a great game.
I love Skyrim, but I got kinda fed up with being "the one" in EVERY storyline.
One of my favourite builds in Skyrim is archery + conjuration, although I think I’ll have to sneak more in Oblivion than in Skyrim.
This is true, although I would argue that Morrowind vanilla is much better than Skyrim or Oblivion, for the reasons I listed above about factions.
But it’s like you pay all this money to play the game and figure stuff out on your own, and then you’re paying more money to have someone spoil the novelty and tell you how to do everything that you’re supposed to be finding out yourself.
You’re special from the start, and you’ve beat the whole questline in almost the same amount of quests it took to get into the University in Oblivion.
I remember when I first got the game, going into that dungeon and opening the door, but I was way under-powered to beat the dude, so I reloaded a save before I entered the dungeon and figured once I was higher-levelled, I’d come whoop some ass.

Yep, You just follow the road out of Raven rock, and then you will notice someone fighting some ash spawn.

The two you are attacked by for Dragonborn are Cultists should look like this,I believe Riften has a few thug random encounters independently of the DLC, I believe, which I think are related to the Thieves Guild questline (not quest specific, but triggered by progress in the questline.) It's interesting that Devlin's giving you Raven Rock assignments already; the Dragonborn quest should come up in your log, but if you want to double check, you can go to the Windhelm docks and speak to the ships captains.
