how to buy a house in skyrim and keep your money

Decorate the inside of your main hall and wings using the carpenter’s workbench, exactly like you decorated the small home.

Like Wimpey, the first poster said, the minimum price for a house is 5000, and unless you use the exploiting method that Master said (that hasn’t been confirmed yet, and you need all the gold anyway,) you can get a house for free.
Available after completing the Dark Brotherhood quest Hail Sithis! The Master Bedroom upgrade costs 3000 gold, purchased from Delvin Mallory, as part of a total 19,000 gold upgrade of the sanctuary.

Step 4: Sprint for the nearest container and deposit all your gold inside it.
Annotations must be on to read the steps, but i'll write them here for those who want it in text.

Proventus doesn’t take the money until he finishes speaking, and he pauses when you open the chest, so find your gold store it all in the chest and he’ll give you the key anyway.
Well consider me lucky cuz I just got a free house!!! Now how do I buy furnishings? I talked to the guy again but there wasn’t an option to buy anything.
Oh and another question, how/when can I mine gold? I keep seeing rocks around that appear to be filled with gold, but it won’t let me mine it.
I followed the directions in the cheats section, but I can’t get my gold stored quick enough before he gives me the key and takes my money.
Buy the house, then back out of the conversation by pushing circle and then open the chest.
Talk to the house seller and tell him you want to purchase the house, then while he is talking hit B immediately and move over to the storage unit and place all your money inside it.
Find someone who is selling a house, make sure you are next to a chest, a cupboard, something you can store your money in.
I noticed that in the cheats section it only says whiterun but I just bought the house in solitude for free as well.
Becoming Thane is easy enough, do some simple quests for the of Whiterun and his steward will offer a deed to the house for 5000 gold.
The house takes about a total of 6800 gold to be fully furnished, but the money is well worth the extra storage space and an alchemy table of your very own to experiment with various potions in your own house.
The cheapest house in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is Breezehome, a house you can buy in Whiterun after becoming Thane of Whiterun.
The location of the house Breezehome is right near the front entrance of Whiterun, right across the street from the Drunken Hunter and just past the blacksmith on the right.
On a side note, if you intend to join the Stormcloaks early in the game, buy the house first in Whiterun before invading.
If your like me and having trouble hauling all your gear around Skyrim, you might need to look at getting a house for both storage and for resting without paying at an inn.
Sometimes, animals will carry a small amount of coin from their last kill, or you can sell the pelts and meat for about 10-30 coin depending on what kind of pelt it is (for example, wolf pelts are usually more than, say, fox pelts, because wolf pelts are larger).
Occasionally finding this chest will spawn a mission called "Secrets of the Empire"worth it! Usually, Draugers will drop from 1-30 coin, and when you finish the boss battle, you can either disenchant the weapon you get, or you can sell it for usually about 100-3000 coin.
The first article she wrote was How to Get Rid of an Old Car, and she admits that, being excited to jump right in and share her thoughts, she violated several rules when she wrote it! The friendly wikiHow community helped her learn the ropes, so she stayed for a long time, making many friends, and doing all kinds of different things.
Although mage equipment is expensive, you get loads of things to sell by picking up armour (which is not needed if you already have robes for your mage).
If you own a house or have a secure location to keep your valuables, make a stash of items of significant value that you would be willing to sell.
When you kill the dragon in Whiterun, you can not only buy a house, but take almost everything in his castle other than the things in the wizard’s room.
Normally they don’t sell for much; however, once you learn enchantments, (they don’t even necessarily have to be super strong), you can enchant the daggers and they sell for 300+ gold.
If you bought a house, save them in your chest every time you kill a dragon (run between 190 to 390).
This is a demonstration how to buy a house and keep the money in Whiterun while it has been taken over by the Stormcloaks.
Return to the Skeleton near where you picked up the book, and loot it’s body, take everything, and loot again, you’ll notice the book on this skeleton continually re-appears, giving you an unlimited supply of "The Doors of Oblivion" worth 50 gold each.
First a requirement for this glitch is Oghma Infinium (acquired from the daedric quest ‘Discerning the Transmundane’) that is in your inventory and not read and a book shelf (found in breezehome after getting the alchemy lab upgrade).
Then if u want steel arrows just go to the target there shooting at but if you want any other kind of arrow first place at least one arrow of the one you want in their inventory.
Go back into the mannequin, and equip any other piece of equipment that is a different type than the one you want to dupe.
Just above Slightless Pit a little higher on the mountain (not much higher) you will see a alter with a skeleton on it, beside the skeleton is a book called "The Doors to Oblivion".
Pick up the book, and kill the skeleton on the table, Two other skeletons will rise around the alter, kill these as well.
In this guide we’ll tell you how to line your pockets without setting foot in a single dungeon, where to find the of your life, and how to get on the property ladder.

With the eager US pushing forward money to help the island become a democracy it is pretty easy to keep everyone, especially the supposedly monarchist military people happy.
Sure, some people become rebels due to this but I had already foreseen it happening and was slowly building up the military presence on the island to deal with those traitorous scum.
Meanwhile the US kept offering all sorts of deals to establish various businesses (fronts for the CIA) on the island to secure their interests and despite my constant public rejections the KGB tried to off me by sending agent Mina Petrova to kill me and install their own puppet in my place.
With them out of the way and the rebel numbers at an all time low I can refocus on building up the population so I try my best to make people happy with a visit from the Pope, the construction of a sports center to host Pan-Caribbean games, and sneakily put a ban on contraception to increase numbers.
The island itself was awesome, with many resources to mine, oil to drill, good climates for crops, and having very road friendly terrain which I built up first to link everything together and build up the industry side of things.
He also mentioned something of owing him a favour but I didn’t really listen at that point because people were striking, rebel numbers were growing, and the threat of a military coup kept coming up.
Who are the people to believe, a crime lord or the guy that gets the Pope to visit? No, my sway at that point is too powerful and I am too well liked by all to have any further issues, even when pirates began attacking freighters I just challenged their leader and defeated him.
Refusing to bargain with terrorists, the island was subjected to bad luck, earthquakes and hurricanes that destroyed buildings and killed people.
Looks like the pirates liked me so much that the more violent military types took me to a nearby island to be their king! It’s not a bad place with four easily accessible mines and some oil.
No doubt they also are the cause behind various workers striking across the island and as much as I’d like to send the army in I know that’s what the rebels want so this time I’m just paying them off.
By the end of my term I only have 150 people on the island with a happiness rating of 54%, very short of my target.
When an individual passes from one period of life to another a time comes when he cannot go on in senseless activity and excitement as before, but has to understand that although he has outgrown what before used to direct him, this does not mean that he must live without any reasonable guidance, but rather that he must formulate for himself an understanding of life corresponding to his age, and having elucidated it must be guided by it.
That pull comes from stellar people, doing exceptional things, all the time.
A child raised in a house that as a rule exposes them to new and wonderful things, teaches them to be open-minded, ambitious, and caring, and surrounds them with people doing the same, will have a world full of people that they look up to and compare themselves against.

> Prometheus: What kind of model line are you a part of anyhow? I’ve never heard of Unicron in the Greek or Roman lines.

It would be easier to simply squish dust in the next expansion: dust get reduced by 50%, old crafted cards get reduced by 50% and gold/money cost of old cards get reduced by 50% too to let new players easier to keep up.
Having to stockpile gold and dust to craft different cards would put F2P players at a bigger disadvantage than they already are compared to P2P players.
Main upside of multiple dust types is that Blizzard make more money (if I had to buy packs to make cards I’d probably drop another £35 straight away TBH).
Instead of reducing the cost of dust for old cards, simply increase the dust for new ones, along with increasing the dust gains from arena and disenchanting the new cards.
A new currency would kind off make it more fair for people who have not yet grinded thousands of dust from Arena.
I’m still pretty sure that they will add new type of dust for expansion cards.
Some people might use the argument, that many players have stored already a lot dust.
It is true that some did, but the majority of players neither stored big amounts of gold nor big amounts of dust.
The first new place you'll likely head to is Fort Greymoor, which has been overrun by bandits (so take them out).
The lever to the left of the gate opens a door further in, but hey, you can duck and activate the chain past the first door to open it! There's a chest here with several potions and an alchemy lab.
You'll see Ustengrav is just North East of Morthal (which, if you haven't done anything but main quests, is North West of Whiterun).
There's a chest here too, so be sharp! Continue on and you'll hear fighting down below! Aha, there's definitely some internal strife here between bandits, mages, and the undead.
From Fort Snowhawk, it's a short journey south east to the city of Morthal, then from there it is a short trek north to Ustengrav.
Go west first to find the small town of Dragon Bridge (who's most unique landmark is a bridge that has stone dragon heads on it, oh the clever naming!).
