No vintage wardrobe is complete without a pair of seamed nylons. We’ve got genuine fully fashioned seamed stockings made on vintage machinery, contrast seamed stockings and even, hush hush, seamed tights for those of you who want to combine glamour with practicality.
We have designed an extensive range of steel boned corsets so whether you’re after the dramatic curves of an underbust corset or a sensational overbust corset we’ll have one to suit and have recently supplied corsets for Kate Winslet for the movie ‘The Dressmaker’.
We’re most famous for our spiral stitch bullet bra, used by movie costumiers world wide to give actresses a 1950s bustline, including Michelle Williams in the movie ‘My Week With Marilyn’.
Our standard range of shapewear  includes corselettes, waist cinchers and girdles that will really enhance your curves: just ask Christina Hendricks who wore our Glamour Merry Widow and Corselette in GQ magazine.
Together, we decided to do a lingerie set inspired by the amazing artwork done by the creator of Sailor Moon, Naoko Takeuchi as well as different fan art pieces.
When the girls designed their look they kept in mind the look and feel that Naoko Takeuchi did in each of her lingerie designs.
To do this we have enlisted the help of SGH Photo Art, an amazing pin up digital photo artist, to come and teach the models how to pose in the pin up style and assist us with staging the shots.
The money that we raise with this kickstarter will go to paying for the rewards, hiring the professional models, as well as paying SGH PhotoArt to come out and help teach the girls the art of pinup.
When we designed our looks, we kept in mind the look and feel that Naoko Takeuchi did in each of her lingerie designs.
Back in June, I was talking to a set of local cosplayers about doing a Sailor Moon photo shoot that portrayed positive body image.

Pin up girls have long been a symbol of sexiness and sensuality, from the burlesque pin ups of silent film to the provocative poses of Betttie Page; from classic WWII pin ups to today's modern pin up girls with tattoos and piercings.
However, I think you can achieve a sexy pin up girl look with modern bra sets that feature full bra cups, low waists and accents.
Costumes: WWII pin up girl posters often featured women in sexy costumes.
Sexy high-heel shoes: Open-toed platforms were the most popular style worn in the 40s, but closed-toe would work just as well.
Garters and thigh highs: You can't be a proper pin up girl without a good garter belt and a pair of thigh high stockings.
Though modern day clothing really isn’t cut to accommodate pin-up lingerie, these retro underpinnings are essential if you prefer to wear vintage fashions.
So you’ve bought your bullet bras, stockings, and garter belt and you’re all ready for a night on the town in full on Dorothy Dandridge glory.
In terms of fabrics, pin-up style lingerie is traditionally made with materials like powermesh, silk, satin, lycra, lace, and nylon.
Though the pin-up genre began in the 1890′s with the iconic Gibson Girls, it didn’t really take off until the 1940′s and 50′s with the debut of pin-up models like Betty Grable and Bettie Page and pin-up artists like Alberto Vargas and Gil Elvgren.
I hope this article helps you in your search for vintage and pin-up style lingerie.
2) Lingerie Wash–It goes without saying that you’re special pin-up lingerie should not be subjected to the tortures of a washing machine.
The word pin-up refers to the kind of mass-produced images that were originally “pinned up” on people’s walls in the form of posters, postcards, magazine cutouts, and the like.
Everyone needs some inspiration once in a while, and when you decide to treat yourself to a boudoir or pin-up session you want to look your absolute best! Pin-up clothing is especially difficult to find in small areas like Springfield, and because no one really wants to wear used or ill-fitting lingerie I don’t try to keep these kinds of things on hand.
Burlesque and pin-up inspired lingerie for the vintage aesthetic connoisseur.
