creepy websites

The glossy, dead eyes, the disturbing attention to detail — even mapping out individual veins below the skin — an unquestionably talented artist has used her gift to conquer the uncanny valley and rule it with an iron fist from atop Mount Soul-Rape in Involuntarily Urination Castle. He looks like equal parts "unsettling uncle no longer allowed at the family reunion" and "half-mad grandpa screaming obscenities at the cat" with just a dash of Emperor Palpatine and two shakes of "fairy tale witch" thrown in for flavor. Scrolling through the archives reveals that there are virtually no other users, just this one, posting non stop, replying to herself, over and over again, every minute of every day for the last six years, alone inside her own dark little echo-chamber of madness. He looks pretty unsettling, sure, but it’s also kind of cute: Here’s this weird old guy just having fun […]

highest megapixel

Sorry, we just need to make sure you’re not a robot. For consumer and professional photography (not space or science products), Nikon can claim the prize in two categories – DSLRs with interchangeable lenses and compact cameras – while Nokia sports the highest resolution smartphone, and Mamiya Leaf claims the highest resolution camera back. In addition to having a 36.3 MP sensor, this camera boasts a 51- point AF system with 15 Cross Type AF sensors, an ISO range of 100 to 6,400 (expanded up to 25,600), full resolution frame rate up to 4 fps and full HD video recording. The Nikon D800 is one of Nikon’s top-of-the-line DSLRs, and it can claim the honor of being the highest megapixel camera among DSLRs with interchangeable lenses and full-frame sensors. The PureView 808 runs Symbian, the awkward, decade-old OS that Nokia has said it’s phasing out in favor of Windows Phone. […]

top 10 iphone cases

Updated on 10-13-2014 by Simon Hill: Added PureGear DualTek, Tech21 Classic Check with Cover, Speck CandyShell Inked, Rokform Aluminum, and Cygnett Urban Wallet. It’s quite a chunky case, but that’s the price of proper drop protection. Each comes printed on a standard CandyShell case that meets military standards for drop tests. It gives all-round protection from damage, with button covers, and openings for uninterrupted operation of your iPhone 6 Plus. This won’t provide much drop protection, but it’s ideal for slipping your phone into your pocket or a bag. Why take the chance? Peruse the iPhone 6 Plus cases that are flooding onto the market and get the style and protection you need. It’s a chunky case, but there are accurate cut-outs for your ports and camera. If you’re always dropping your iPhone 6 Plus then you really need a rugged case. This one meets military standards for drop testing […]

top items for christmas 2012

What It Was Like Becoming a Man on The Wonder Years An interview with Fred Savage. Here, 10 can’t-miss ideas for every type of woman in your life. From dolls that look like members of a famous boy band to furry interactive "pets" that speak a "foreign" language, Toys"R"Us has compiled a list of the most in-demand toys of the 2012 holiday shopping season. The key trend this year has been the proliferation of tablets in the 7-inch vicinity, most notably the Google/Asus Nexus 7, the 7" Kindle Fire, the Nook HD (all priced at US$199) and of course, market leader Apple’s slightly larger foray into this space – the 7.9 inch iPad Mini ($329). The task of distilling all of the great gadgetry we’ve seen throughout the year into a top 10 list is of course an impossible one and there are no doubt items on your radar that […]

best cameras under 200

Please follow this link (or search for the PC Magazine app on your iPad or iPhone) to get your free issue. It’s dedicated water mode will keep your pool photos from looking blue plus it’s a great beach camera! With 18 megapixels, 1080p HD video, and impressive looks, it makes for a great choice regardless of whether you’ll use the waterproof function. It’s a great buy for pros who need a small walk around camera or those who just want a really nice one with all the bells and whistles including 1080p HD video. While I was in the middle of writing this, my client and friend, Sarah asked a great question! She wanted to make sure all of the cameras I listed had fast shutter speeds – laser fast! This question makes a lot of sense because often non-professional photographs have motion blur from “less than stationary” children and […]

connecting ipad to projector

Here, I’m going to show you how to connect the iPad to a projector using a VGA Adapter. A VGA adapter cable is used to connect the iPad to the projector, exactly as described here. Unfortunately, on this site I can’t currently provide much help with regards to specific software, apps or websites that you’re trying to view through a projector using an iPad. Having connected these adapter cables to both the iPad and projector and then to each other, you’ll have successfully hooked up your iPad. If you think you’ll need to keep the iPad charged up at the same time, you can plug a Dock-to-USB cable into the larger of the two sockets on the digital AV adapter and then connect the USB end of the cable to an iPad power adapter. In contrast to using a VGA adapter with an original iPad, for which only a limited […]
